McKinley Park

Playground - McKinley ParkThe pride of Cambridge is evident in our glorious McKinley Park, undoubtedly one of the the largest parks per capita anywhere. It is recorded in our history archives that 10,000 citizens came from miles around to attend a 4th of July event in the early 1900's, the park known as the "Playground of Southwest Nebraska". The active projects of the Cambridge Park Board and Foundation continually understore this theme.
Walking Trail

features lighted tennis courts, a heated swimming pool, picnic and playground facilities, flower gardens, and an historic one-room school house. You may be able to view riding and roping competitions at the Patterson Arena on Sunday afternoons.

McKinley Park, a playground for all ages, offers RV campgrounds, 18-hole golf course, baseball, basketball, skate-park, sand-filled playground oasis, picnic shelters, trails, and artistic sculptures in the natural beauty of our Nebraska Statewide Arboretum.
