enjoy the trees surrounding the camping area at the Cambridge
City RV Park at
the east edge of Cambridge on
Hwy 6 & 34. There are 11 Electrical and water hook-ups,
and a shared dump-station near the entrance. Conveniently
located near the walking trail and just a short distance
to restrooms, showers, and all the recreation of McKinley Park
and the Medicine Creek. Look for the big American flag and
you’ve
arrived at this hidden treasure!

located on Trail 1 at the Medicine Creek State Recreation
Area, the lodge offers 5 cabins with various layouts and
private baths. There are four RV hook ups adjacent to the
cabins with water and electricity.

Recreation Area Camping Sites
Camping at the Medicine Creek camping ranges from the
most modern to just the essentials. Shady Bay Campground on Trail-No.
4 on the east side of the lake has 77 hard surfaced camping pads.
Most are shaded, and there are 34 electrical hookups. A top-notch
camping spot, Shady Bay also has showers, flush toilets, boat
ramps, a swimming beach, trailer dump station, water wells, and
barbecue grills. More camping is located on Trail No. 1, where
there are a modern shower/latrine, picnic shelters, water, parking,
and boat ramps. There are also boat ramps on Trail No. 3, and
there are other camping sites scattered around the lake that
have trail road access.
